Birds Eye View

We continue to frequent Lowes at an alarming rate and add more garden beds and flowers from the half price shelf.

MoTab

The President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was down in the front, I can see the back of his head if I look real close.

We went to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at Red Rocks tonight. Children under 8 were not allowed to go so they went to Nanas. We had a great time.

Advancement

This little Budha Baby went to the church nursery during Sunday School hours. He went right in and found a toy and didn't want to leave when we came to pick him up. One of the leaders said that he did eat a crayon but other than that he did great.

Family reunion rembrances

All the little girls play house in Nana and Papa's motor home.
Kenneth without a nap by two o'clock is difficult, but Nana and Papa have welcoming arms.
If we just had a well and a pump in our back yard the kids would have fun all summer.
Megan, Kelly, and Grace made a little bridge over the stream. The footing wasn't so stable, I slipped and fell in- oh well.

The Burrow

It was for sale too.

The hike

After hiking all the way to the top of this rock...
Kenny was so exhausted he needed to lay down and have a bottle.
Here is Kenny and Mike at the top.

A Valuable Quilt

Megan in the coat of many of colors. The backing is Megan's favorite color pink.

Kenny already loves young women (and their values.)

Aunt Becky made Megan a quilt for her birthday. The colors on the front represent the young women's values.

The green stuff

You see, Mom gave me some plain noodles so I would not have to have another bath today. Yet, as you can see she threw the good stuff onto my tray when I refused to eat them. Look how the green ones stretch out the full length of the tray.
I made a basil walnut pesto to put on noodles for dinner. Out of those who tried the green stuff (Patrick, Megan, Kelly and eventually Kenny) only Kelly, myself and Kenny had it for dinner. The others put butter and Parmesan cheese on theirs.

Garden fresh

All the greens in our lunch were provided by the back yard.
Birds Eye view of our gardens (back yard). It's been in the low 70's for the last two weeks and raining every afternoon (plus the bonus of tornado's on occasion.) So the spinach, lettuce and strawberries have been great. Hopefully it will warm up soon so we will get baby doll watermelons and 1000 pound pumpkins before we run out of growing season in September.

Picnic on the porch

When you don't have paper plates, just take the food outside on a sandwich board and just hose off the patio later. (Ants are faster at clean up than a dog.)

Ode to joy

It's raining; it's pouring.

The old man is snoring. He went to bed and bumped his head,:

He couldn't get up in the morning. (4am to go to scout camp)
There are so many things to do.
Like cut your own Kiwi.

And let the twins wrestle, all before church.
