Ward Talent Show

Megan and Kelly sang Hold On by Avril Lavigne. Jon played Low Rider with the Teachers. Kenny actually stayed mostly on our row. Mary Jane danced with the Hannah Montana crew. It was a fun night.

Baby Gift

I put the dress over the baby basket that had diapers, wipes, wash clothes, bibs and pacifiers. I didn't have to wrap the gift either.

Go

Mike and Mary do leg lifts.

Park

Mike and I stopped at the park to let Kenny run around. He went down the slide, right into a puddle. This didn't stop his fun.

The kids sat on the swing set when the workers came and built the fence last week.

Jon said that at 4:30 am Adam began to wake the other children up. He stopped him and sent Adam back to bed. At 7 am (after the sun had come up) Patrick, Kelly, Adam, Mary and Kenny began to search the main floor for hidden Easter eggs. Kenny didn't know what to do, so Megan was woken up and she helped him find his allotment. Jon couldn't sleep through the hunt, so he came up and found the difficult to find plastic eggs. By 9 am (when I woke up), Kenny had snacked all of his basket and began to move on to any basket left unattended. We then got ready for church and left. Later we had Salmon and mash potatoes for dinner.

Concert

Kelly participated in band and choir this year. The beginning band played some of their tunes before the choir sang. Kelly has been learning the trumpet.

Mary Jane on the loose

Nana made Mary Jane a sweet dress and an apron that had a lamb and the words Mary had a little lamb.

The kindergarten annual Mother Goose on the Loose, featured Mary as Mary had a little lamb. She and her fellow "Marys" recited their rhyme and then we ate cookies and lemonade.

Saturday Night Clean

I asked Mary to take the picture and the pen flowers up to my room- she arrange them just so.

Popcorn and a movie for the little workers.

Saturday night, 7 pm, at the Malm house we clean the house until it sparkles. Not one job per person but jobs until the house is super, swept and mopped clean.

Kenny prays

As I tucked Kenny to sleep last night he was jumping on his bed. I asked him to lay down and fold his arms for the prayer. He did fold his arms and jumped the whole prayer.

No Vacancy

There are some birds living in the house that Patrick built in Cub Scouts. Stalker squirrel was watching them angrily from the fence.

Flat Mary Jane

Mary Jane needs to turn in a little Mary Jane tomorrow. It was difficult to cut curly hair out of paper.

Ice cold

Mike went outside to get a log for the fire and Kenny followed and decided to stay outside.

Gusty wind

The wind huffed and puffed and blew the fence down.

Hot dog!

The Weiner Mobile was Wal-Mart. Megan, Kelly, nor Adam wanted to sing they are a weiner to go inside the hot dog on wheels.

Green drink, no ham

Before the blending, it looks colorful.
After the blending... green. We bought some cups that you cannot see the green while you're drinking the concoction.

My friend Pat gave me a book called Green Smoothies. You take mostly spinach and greens add a little fruit, ice or water and let the blender crush it and smooth.

Missing

I really like my snazzy bell bottom pants. We are now represented!

Mary brought to my attention that a picture of mom and dad was missing from the picture wall. She rectified this situation. Thank you Mary Jane!
