Open up the hangar!

Kenny usually won't let anyone feed him. If you try to put silverware near his mouth, he will grab the food and put it in himself. Also, if he spears something with a fork he will bring it to his lips and then pluck it off with his fingers and stuff it into his mouth. If you look at his Buddha Belly, one can tell his technique is still effective.

Swimming

All seven children and I went to the pool today. This was Kenny's first time in the pool, and he really liked it. Although right when we put him in the pool, he looked around like what are all these people doing in my bath. He got into the routine: walk around the pool, get out when the whistle blows, eat popcorn, when the whistle blows, get back in- repeat as necessary.

Blazing Trails

During sacrament meeting Adam said that he had to go to the bathroom. I told him no because sometimes he just wants to wander the halls. But, he pleaded and said he really had to go, so I unbuttoned his difficult button on his pants and off he went in the wrong direction. Mike went after him and he said when he got to the bathroom there was a trail leading to the stall: shoes, and then there was socks, and then pants, and finally underwear! As Mike began to take a picture for the blog another man walked in, so he shoved the trail of clothes under the stall and tried to look like he was just waiting, not a pervert taking photos in the men's room. Oh honey, you should have explained that your wife is a blogger! Once the other man left, Mike, the roving reporter, took the picture.

Party

Yesterday, we went to Jon's friend's Bar Mitzvah. The church service was two hours (since we usually go three hours it was no sweat). Jon's friend Brock stood up and led the service and it was mostly in Hebrew (that would be cause for anyone to sweat). He did a great job and we had fun at the party afterwards.
The reception had an awesome view.

Happy 4th!

Kenny finds out he loves to go biking! Mike, Kelly and I were going to go on a quick five minute ride around the block. It took ten minutes to put the trailer on Mike's bike and ten more to pump up the tires. Kenny and Mary giggled as Mike rode real fast.

Cousin Chaos

Either he's going to brush Megan's hair or he's threatening her to stop taking photos.

Debbie, Ken, Mike and Becky's families and Grandma and Grandpa all showed up at our house for lunch and fun. The kids roasted hot dogs and marshmallows on the grill.

I'm Mary Jane!

We were at the park and Mary told a little boy not to step on her sand castle. He obediently asked her where was the castle (it all looked like a pile of sand.) She then began yelling at him, "I'm Mary Jane!" over and over. He stayed and played with her even though she never told him where her precious castle was.
