Thanks for the new furniture

Kenny settled on the pillows as the boys brought in the couches.

Our home teacher is so inspired.  Mike and I have been discussing how bad the family room furniture was getting.  The hometeacher asked us, without knowing this, if we wanted their old couches. He helped us bring them over and the old ones are in the garage waiting for dumpster day.

Another requirement done

Papa figured out after the third cub scout he can buy a birdhouse kit.  Adam hung it in the tree with pride.

Happy 7th birthday Mary Jane!

Mary Jane may be a year older, but she is still small enough to fit in Meg's Grandview locker.

Mary Jane wanted "Monster High" dolls for her birthday.  I had no clue what they were.  She took me to the Barbie section and showed me weird looking blue and pink dolls with crazy hair. Nana had a funny expression when Mary showed her, her new dolls!

 She sings!  She can play the recorder!

She is an artist!  Oh, and she made the gymnastic team!  Hooray for Kelly!

Jon and his books to study for his 3 AP exams coming up in May.  

Happy Easter

Megan and I are wearing our beautiful Easter dresses that my mom made for us.  The other two girls wore the green dresses that she recently made for them.  I bought Kenny a suit on Friday, but he vetoes wearing it and wore a white t-shirt and blue pants (his Easter finest.)  With 9 o'clock church, it's hard enough to get to church on time, let alone get everyone in a picture.  Oh well.

Mary and Kenny received this water and sand table for Easter.  After Meg and I built it we discovered all the fun about it.  There were diving boards and little people slides.  Mary spent all afternoon outside with it.  The Easter bunny left 16 eggs per child, hidden around the house.  It was a great day.
