The wanderer

Kenny, 7-months-old, learned to crawl today. He has been rocking for about two weeks but, he is mobile today. Everyone cheered when we realized he was actually moving. Now Legos are not allowed out of the big kids' bedrooms!

Grace and Abby came over and spent the night. I don't think they liked the homemade whole wheat french toast. I saw it on the counter later with no bites taken out of either piece. Oh well. Hopefully they weren't too hungry when they got home. Otherwise, all had fun watching movies and playing in the castle in the back yard.

Ready or not

After reading other peoples' blogs, which I really enjoy, I thought it was time to start my own. So what's going on? Hmmm. Well, it can only get better from here.

Saturday we celebrated Grandpa Malm's 80th birthday party. Debbie, Becky, Ken , Mike and Mark gathered at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Also, all their wives, children or grandchildren.

We ate bbq, hit a pinata and grandpa even let the older kids drive the tractor. The next day Mark went back to Las Vegas with his two grandchildren and Deb went home to Texas with her three children. Everyone else lives in town.
