Out to lunch

We went to Benihana's for lunch today to celebrate my upcoming birthday. The children loved the chef throwing the utensils in the air, spinning the eggs for the fried rice and the entertaining shrimp tails in the hat trick. Jon almost caught the flying corn in his mouth as the chef launched them at us. The cat is supposed to bring good fortune this year. I already feel fortunate.

Foiled Again

When I asked him what he had, he tried to stuff the foil back into the drawer.

The drawer wouldn't close.

Math Counts

It was the middle school Math Counts competition today for the Metro area. Although he did not place, Jon said it was fun to do math all day. Some kids had on a math shirt that said, "It's as easy as 3.14...( then the next 150 digits)" Jon was coveting that shirt.
