Merry Christmas

We had a Merry Christmas.  Everyone seemed to get what they wanted. 

Cream soda

Megan and I went to a craft fair and had a very yummy cream soda made at a booth. Mike wondered if we could make some at home. I found a recipe and it is our new favorite drink.

My newest idea

My kitchen is too small to put a garbage can in it. Under the sink has an extensive water filter plus thousands of "Safeway sacks". For the last 11 years we have had black trash bags attached to various spots around the kitchen with clamps. So, I ordered a rolling trash can, one of three on internet, for $52.00 and found that I can stuff more trash into a 17 gallon bag than a hanging 30 gallon bag, who knew?

Romney Rally

Mike and I went to see Mitt Romney at a high school in Jefferson County last night.  It was fun seeing the presidential candidate up close.

We finally won

Adam won third place in the Rain Gutter Regalla. He wished he won first, but out of all three boys, this is our first award.

Mike made dinner

The kids don't want any. Chard rice rolls, a change of pace.
