I figured it out
Whenever I would put glasses in the 2nd row of the dishwasher they would tilt over and sometimes fall over. I tried different strategies to work around this until tonight I noticed there is a lever to move the spines in different angles. Wow. Now if I could figure out how to wipe down the front I would really be smart.

I wish my dishwasher would do that. They are all so different. I've at least figured out the best configuration to keep the cups from flipping over and getting filled with water and crud. :)
