He listens

I gave all the children a cookie. Kenny took his outside and put it in the water table (everything is better in the water table). He came in and asked for another one and I told him no. Later I heard him tell Jonathan, "Mama said no Cookie."

Mathletes

The math team was awarded trophy's at the assembly on Friday.
Mrs. Booth, the math team coach, said that when people hear
that Trails West's math team is in the house-
others start to tremble.

Two for the road

Kenny's brackets fall apart.
Watching basketball intently as the final seconds count down.
Thanks for the birthday cake, Grandma.

No, I won't share

Kenny won't share his Smarties with Papa.

Patrick bought his own pop and is not afraid to show it, or backwash in it.

Winter Strikes Again

Poor Kenny. He kept trying to open the sliding glass door to get outside to the new toy. He didn't think the snow storm would matter.

The little kids received a swing set for Christmas. We have had a two day warm streak so Papa came over and put it together. Hooray.

Sweet!

Today I found this Valentine and sugar cookie on top of the china cupboard- it's only a month and two days old. I bet Adam would eat it.

Say yes

Kenny likes to bring stuff he wants from the kitchen to someone to fix it for him. He brought Mike his bottle and some pop. He has been known to bring milk, spoon and cereal. Kenneth has also trucked out ice cream, ketchup and soy sauce. Most have been met with, "Mama says no." Countered by Kenny with, "Mama said yes."

Picnic

Mary invites her bears for an afternoon snack.

Mary's treat

"I would like a Pinkalicious kids meal with macaroni and cheese, french fries and a Sprite..., " I said this with pride to the drive thru speaker at Burger King. "Yes, that will be all." The meal came with a cute little pink doll with pig tails she could brush.

Megan hoped the teen taking the order didn't think it was for her- since she was the only other person in the car. I could have ordered two.

More pop

I had the ginger ale for my stomach. Kenny kept taking the pop bottle up to the children and asking for them to put it in his baby bottle. They must have, because his diaper was sopping when I took him out of his crib the next morning.

Things are getting thicker

Yawn... I got home from taking the children to school and I thought I would lie down on the couch while Mary and Kenny watched cartoons. When I heard a crash... Kenny's found the corn starch.
