Don't try to give him a spoon- he won't take it.

Breakfast

Green smoothies and breakfast pizza- toast piled with cheese, left over spaghetti sauce and Spike, and Mike.

Finally

I got the courage up to take away Kenny's bottle this week. I bought a Buzz Lightyear cup and decided he could only have a babaga (his word for bottle) at bed time. By Tuesday he didn't even want a night time bottle. Next on his list is potty training!

It had to be done

Kenny's blanket had to go into the wash!

Finally! Clean and dry.

S'mores for dinner

My mom would sometimes would serve milkshakes for dinner. I follow in her footsteps?

A cartload of balogna

Growing

It was too cold for Kenny to play outside with just a shirt and diaper on so I put on his snow suit. Can you say, "wedgie and highwaters?" Funny, they didn't play outside for that long.

Cabaret

Tonight Megan's choir class had a night of desserts and music for their families. It was enjoyable to sit back and listen and notice that my little girl is growing up.

Hero hall of fame

Patrick did a project for english class. He chose my dad or his Papa to be his hero and did a project about him. It was really sweet. Today he showed off his project.

They sleep alike

Megan and Kenny fell asleep on the couch before dinner. Kenny's excuse: he woke up at 4 am. Megan: CSAPS?

The Leprechaun came

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Our local leprechaun, Lenny, came during the night leaving us with the green shirts we needed to wear today.

Hrrrah

A Wookie ate her homework! Speaking of Wookies, I wish the GPS would speak Wookie, instead of the British chippy that is always telling me to make a u-turn.

Thirsty?

I ran up to the kitchen when Mary reported that Kenny was soaping himself up in the kitchen sink.

St. Patrick's week

Mary Jane is wearing the biking shirt I gave Mike for his birthday.

Warning

As Adam was riding his bike he noticed a warning label. As he began to read the tag that told him not to ride the bike at night and not to ride in wet weather, he then fell over. The tag should say: not to read while riding.

Self Service

I guess Kenny was bored, I found him brushing, flossing and scrubbing the mirror this evening.

Waitress

Reaching for a later bedtime: sorry.
This scene can be seen in many horror flicks.
(Cue: chainsaw music in the background.)
Eye under the door, "Oh waitress, somebody..."

"Mom, you're not going to get a 15 percent tip if I don't get a refill on this bottle!" I have started to decipher his speech, even though it is after bedtime and he is kicking the door.

Birthday

Mom and Dad brought an ice cream cake.
Papa fixed the broken banister. Kenny ran and hid.
Kenny waited for dinner.
Nana was in the kitchen making salmon, potatoes
and asparagus for the birthday girl. Hooray for me.

Birthday Lunch

Kenny was so excited to tell the waitress he wanted a pop.
Jon and Mary decided that the chicken was the best. Jon ate everything that nobody else would eat. I heard him say words that I haven't heard in a long time, "I'm full."
Adam wanted the chef to continue to make more fire.
Kelly really liked the zuchini dipped in the special sauces.
Patrick really liked the chopsticks. He ordered his favorite food- shrimp.

We all went to Mt. Fuji, a Benihana type restaurant, for lunch for my birthday. The K-8 children had the last two days off but my freshman did not. We picked Jon up from school, ate lunch and then took him back for his last class. We had fun as the chef lit up the stove and threw broccoli at our open mouths.

Broken

Kenny had this habit of shaking the banister when he was upset, even amongst cries of, "Kenny you're going to break that!" Well, he broke it, and Jon watched him frantically try to put it back together for twenty minutes.
