Mountains of homework: Yes, Kelly has Mr. Campbell for fourth grade.
Teen volunteer thank you from the Library: Jonathan M., Megan M., and Patrick M.
The Claw: he chooses who will go and who will stay!
Megan refuses to watch Star Trek the Next Generation.

A walk in your shoes

Jonathan stuffed Kennys size 10 shoe into his size 12 shoe. Clown shoes.

In person

I was surfing around the web one day when I found a blog that was fun to read about another LDS lady with lots of children (like me.) I followed her blog and even started my own. Melinda was driving through Denver today and stopped with her 7 children to meet mine. So cool. Here are 13 (Kelly went with a friend) on my fireplace. It was fun to go to Cici's pizza for dinner.

Kitchen transformations

2004
2003
2002
today

Nothing too crazy, but we moved the fridge to another spot and moved the cupboards back to there old position. I have dreams to enlarge the kitchen to include the nook area- we haven't been able to fit the whole family at a table in there for a few years.

The end of an era

Goodbye crib. You fell apart today and I couldn't fix you. Kenneth is my last baby, unless Heavenly Father has some big surprises in store. You did well through all the markers and shaking. Although you only gave service to two of the seven, I was happy. Farewell.

At last look at 10 pm Kenny was sleeping behind the bedroom door.

All tangled up

We moved the computer from the kitchen nook. Luckily Mike knew how to sort the wires out.

Waste not, want not

I come into the kitchen and Mike is adding cellophane to the econo roll. Why are you doing that? Mike said he found it in the basement and it wasn't getting used. Hmmm. Now Patrick and Mike have touched all of it. Great.

Trumpets

It's fourth grade time again- buy another instrument for the upcoming lessons. Kelly has decided to play trumpet, at least until middle school where she has french horn dreams. I found a trumpet on Craigslist and took Jonathan to test it out. Jon was happy that some expensive mutes came with it. This makes 2 trumpets, a flute and trombone in the family.

Road trip

Tyler and Sarah
lunch: Weight Watchers approved?
Temple Square
Salt Lake Temple
Wyoming was windy

Mike and I went to Salt Lake City to see our niece Sarah get married. We stayed in a hotel right across the street from Temple Square. My mom and dad watched the seven children while we were gone. It was a relaxing vacation.

My dad painted my garage door while I was in Salt Lake. It turned out great.
