My mom is the oldest of 7 children, she said that her dad was so sick of losing his comb that he chained it to the sink. We can never find the TV remote- someone is always putting under the couch, in the bathroom, under the cushions- so Mike put it on a string.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I remember when we actually had the luxury 1985 of hooking up our VCR to the TV and using the corded remote to change the channel.
ReplyDeleteI wish remotes came with a clapper, so if you clapped, it would start beeping. Like the intercom button on a cordless phone. In my opinion remote technology is lagging.
We got lucky once when the cable guy came to fix something and he gave us an extra remote to the cable box. It's really bad when we can't find either of them.
