Our Albertsons closed in the neighborhood about 6 months ago. SmartCo was set to open its doors this morning with the promise of a raffle of gift cards from 10 to 100 dollars. Ellen Davidson told Mike and Jon last night that she was going to go sit in line all night. Patrick, Jon and Megan joined her. Too bad you had to be 18 to get the cards- so they called me at 4:30am to come and get in line. Jon called it an unslumber party. We won $20 and bought junk food. Ellen and another gal, that waited all night too, each won $50's.
A DS fest- I dropped the boys off at 10 pm. The lady in the front of the line had been there since 4pm. Megan decided to take her books and go around 11pm.
By 5am, Patrick couldn't take it any more. We had to carry him to the car and let him sleep.
By 5:34am the line was about a 150 people and they handed out 250 chances.
Pop, sandwiches and snacks kept the party going before the speeches and the shopping.

I know I am cheap but staying up all night to win $20 seems ridiculous. Hope it was fun...........
