White dress

This morning I put on my temple dress to see if it would still fit. (It's a little longer but not trip worry.) I heard Kenny wake up so I went to pull him out of his crib. He stopped yelling and looked up at me like I was an angel. I wish I could have captured his expression.

Bread Winner

He makes bread, he bikes and he loves me! We eat about 6 loaves of bread each week and that doesn't count if I plan cheese sandwiches or french toast for dinner. He can make all 6 in the Bosch at one time, in about two hours and use a whole #10 can of wheat- got to love that.

The Gingerbread boy

Kenny has become the child that tries to run out of the nursery anytime the door opens. When Megan went to pick him up he didn't want to run (leave)- that wasn't as fun.

Watch again

Mike O' Donnell: When you're young everything feels like the end of the world. But it's not; it's just the beginning. You might have to meet a few more jerks, but one day you're gonna meet a boy who treats you the way you deserve to be treated. Like the sun rises and sets with you.

Mike O' Donnell: [after being transformed] Come on, man! Don't you ever wanna go back and do high school again?
Ned Freedman: No. I'm rich and no one has shoved my head in a toilet today!

We rented 17 Again from Redbox. It is super funny. Especially the friend Ned who has an obsession with Star Wars.

Ned: It's a classic transformation story. Are you now, or have you ever been, a Norse god, vampire, or time-traveling cyborg?
Mike: I've know you since what, first grade? I think that maybe I would have told you!
Ned: Vampire wouldn't tell. Cyborg wouldn't know.

Home away from home

Mary renovated her water table to be a backyard bed. She lets Kenny "sleep" too if it is part of the game. I'd think it would be smelly over in that area because of the rotting compost pile.

I won't go

We had to take the minivan to the mechanic and Mike suggested that we ride our bikes home on the path. It took about 90 minutes to bike back. Later, Kelly and Mike were heading out on their bikes and Mary yelled that she would not go on a bike ride. (She usually begs to go, but apparently had her biking fill for today.)

While we were riding, Mary said she had to go potty. So I walked her into a McDonald's to use the restroom. As we walked through the dining room she yelled that she would not eat here. (Apparently she has seen Super Size Me one too many times.)
