We trimmed the tree, ate some ice cream and sang, "Once there was a Snowman". Our family carols this year will be Peace on Earth and Good will towards Ken, Rocking around the baby-gated tree, and Not so Silent of a Night. It's going to be a long 10 days till Christmas.
What carols will you be singing this season?
Evan doesn't let me sing right now. He'll say, "You are interrupting my song." Or he will be listening to a song, and if I start to sing along, he will ask me not to sing. It's a bit of a bummer.
ReplyDeleteThat Kenny...there is no way the presents will stay wrapped until Christmas.
No presents! under the tree until Christmas morning. Last year he got into a bunch of presents with Adam helping. I don't want to wrap more than once!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I've decided to pick a few carols for you and Evan. I hope you will still come to my blog and leave comments after I name your all time holiday hits. Picture a rousing round of "Do you hear what I hear, I'll stop singing," and what brings on the holiday spirit like "What child is this who wants to sing a solo" and finally, "Go tell it on the Mountain- because I don't want to hear your complaints about my holiday singing voice". These could be your Christmas songs these next few weeks and throughout the next year... or not.
ReplyDeleteHere are some songs for Beth, Grandma got run over by a reindeer and it incapcitated her from talking on the telephone, I'll be home for Christmas, and I won't have to go to someones half cooked dinner. Have yourself a merry little Christmas, cause you have to buy your own gift...
