Hot air
If the fire alarm next to the kid's bathroom starts screaming (because of the hot air from the shower) the children all run to grab towels and start fanning the alarm. Sometimes it will be a towel fest with all the waving and flapping.
My kitchen smoke detector will do that with the heat of the oven. A pancake flipper waved in front of it works for me.
When I was working with a journalism summer camp, we had a fire alarm at 6 a.m. It turns out that it was the humidity from the Chicago summer. That was one bad wake-up call!
That reminds me of my home when I was growing up. The alarm would go off some times when my mom was cooking and we would all grab kitchen towels and fan it down. Classic.

Maybe we should invite Jennifer Clark to come and show the best way to leave the bathroom!!!
