My mom made me a new dress this week and I am thrilled with it. I made sure everyone that commented on it knew that I did not buy it nor did I make it but it was my wonderful mom who did. All the girls except Mary were wearing one of her handmade dresses today. We all felt special and looked great.

ReplyDeleteMy grandma used to make special dresses for my birthday, and my mom made dresses for my sister and me for Easter and Christmas. It's too bad that people don't really sew any more. (And that includes me. Quilting doesn't count.)
