The first weekend in October- General Conference. The Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints guide the people of the church with talks about things we should be working on or studying.
I particularly liked a story about a girl born without hearing, how she met a boy without legs and she told him that they were born special but they would be whole when Jesus came back. Also, their was an uplifting talk about having hope and not giving into despair.
Mike and I with varying kids listened to the broadcast in the living room. Kenny tried to turn off the computer a few times. We loved the children's choir in the 2nd session. It is uplifting to watch/listen to conference. Tomorrow there are two more sessions.
